By the end of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, the United States has been at the forefront of the medal tally.
As of yesterday (07), China was still in the second place in the medal table.
The United States won a total of 113 medals, including 39 gold, 41 silver and 33 bronze, while China won 88 of the 38 gold, 32 silver and 18 bronze medals.
Hosts Japan are third with 58 golds and a total of 58 medals.
Britain is fourth with 22 gold medals and Russia is fifth with 20 gold medals.
Australia, the Netherlands, France, Germany and Italy are the other countries in the top 10 at this year’s Olympics.
